The Republic of Kazakhstan, as one of the fastest growing countries of the CIS, as well as the country, which owns large reserves of strategic resources, can not remain aloof from the expanding global integration. The main cause of economic integration is the pursuit of economic efficiency of production. On the international level integration occurs through the formation of regional economic groupings of states and harmonize their domestic and foreign policy. The interaction and mutual adaptation of national economies is manifested above all in the gradual creation of a "common market" - in terms of exchange of goods and the liberalization of movement of productive resources (capital, labor, information) between the two countries.

Integration is seen as a necessary measure of association due to the increased competition on the world markets. In modern conditions the state is unable to fully ensure their economic security on their own, alone. The success of the integration process depends, among other things, from the influence of the geographical factor - because benefits from the development of the integration are manifested primarily through the removal of tariff barriers.

Presence integration processes associated with certain preconditions: 1) the proximity of levels of economic development and the degree of market maturity integrating countries; 2) the geographical proximity of the integrating countries, the presence of common border and historically formed economic ties (the latter is especially important for the CIS countries); 3) common economic and other challenges facing the country; 4) demonstration effect (shifts occurring within organizations, stimulate the desire to join neighboring countries; 5) "domino effect" - in connection with the reorientation of economic relations on the basis of the integration associations of the neighboring states have difficulties.

EAEC established to comprehensive modernization, co-operation and enhance the competitiveness of national economies and create conditions for sustainable development in order to improve the living standards of the Member States.
